New Bass Player joins Skivers

In case anyone at our recent gigs was wondering what had happened to Si, he's had to unfortunately leave the band to concentrate on maths, mountain climbing and matters of philosophy. Best of luck to the boy but he has been capably replaced by Ste Tinkler (pictured above in April in Seen, Darlington). An old friend of the band, Ste has slotted in well to the Skiver's set up. Expect more gigs and new tunes later on in the year.

Skivers to play The Forum's birthday party

Darlington's Forum is two years old at the end of May and as part of their birthday celebrations, Lifetime Skiver have been asked to do a special birthday gig along with other Forum regulars, The Shining. Some other smart band is playing too. It all happens on Saturday 27th May, doors 8p.m.Only £3 in!

E.P. launch put back

Predictably the new Skiver's masterpiece isn't going to be released as early as once thought. The impending matter of the World Cup, to be honest, isn't going to help matters either as very little will get done in June apart from watching football. The wait will definitely be worth it...

Work to start on new Skiver e.p.

Lifetime Skver are due to start recording their new e.p. this March. The as yet untitled collection of four new songs will hopefully be released in May.
